Input procedure:

1. Before inputting an entry make sure the author and place are entered in the database by checking the admin indexes on place and author (the main site indexes will only show authors and places with text entries). If one, the other, or both are not entered do so now

2. When entering a place make sure to enter its map co-ordinate so that its name is clickable on the map portal, if the place is not on the map, edit the map with photoshop, use dreamweaver to map the placename, cut and paste the co-ordinates into the window on the enter place screen. Make sure you also enter the right url after the coordinates. All image maps are kept in database/pages/imagemaps/.

3. Once the place and author are in the database click on enter/edit text entry and input the comment and references in either the French or English windows.
